Ruth I. Bayley, 84, of New Haven died on August 7, 1986 at Harrisburg Manor Nursing Home. A homemaker, Mrs. Bayley was born on September 25, 1901 near Ridgway, the daughter of the late Charles and Ora (Downen) Foster. She married John Bayley on December 4, 1919 in Ridgway. She was a member of Union Ridge Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; her daughter, Martha Weirauch of Carmi; her sister, Verda Faye Anderson of Eldorado; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Felix Foster and Cale Foster. Funeral services were held Sunday at Union Ridge Presbyterian Church with Rev. Creighton Hampton officiating. Interment was in Union Ridge Cemetery with Cox and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
