She died November 10, 1988, at Sharkey Issaquena Hosptial, Rolling Fork. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery, Glen Allen, under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home, Rolling Fork.
She was born and raised in Webster County. She resided in Grace for 44 years.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Edwards of Grace; a daughter, Sandra Cleveland of Waynesboro; five sons, the Rev. Jerry P Edwards of Ocean Springs, Rodney Edwards, Clarence Edwards, the Rev. Tim Edwards and Pat Edwards, all of Grace; a sister, Draper Lisenby of Modesta, Calif.; a brother Robert Sims of Grace; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
