Lizzie Mae Price Crout, 92, wife of the late Hugh Crout, went to be with the Lord May 5, 2007. Born in Gilbert, S.C., October 6, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Hattie Derrick Price. She lived in Lexington for 68 years and was a homemaker and seamstress. She will be remembered for her sewing and alterations provided to the public for over 40 years, her love of flowers and vegetable gardening.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church where she was a kindergarten Sunday School teacher for many years.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, her son and daughter-in-law, grandsons, great-grandchildren, and sisters. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Crout.
