Nellie Cromer Brindle

ST. THOMAS - Nellie Cromer Brindle, 92, of Shook Home and formerly of St. Thomas, died at 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 1989, at the home.

Born May 4, 1897, in Fort Littleton, she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. and Florence Todhunter Cromer.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of St. Thomas and Mountainview Rebeckah (sic) Lodge of Mt. Union.

Her husband, Clarence E. Brindle Sr., died Jan. 11, 1975.

Surviving are a stepson, Clarence E. Jr. of St. Thomas; and two stepgrandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Park-Geisel Funeral Home Inc., Chambersburg. The Rev. Charles A. Price will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, St. Thomas 17252.
