John Robert Wardlow of 115 S.E. King Street, a Camas resident for the past 29 years, died Friday, march 26, in Vancouver. He was 72 years of age.
he is survived by his wife, Arra, of Camas; two sons, Walter of Sutherland, Ore., and Clyde of Ketchikan, Alaska; daughters, Mrs. Eula Buhman of Seaview, Wash., Mrs. Opal Anderson of Bellingham and Mrs. Rena Herb, Vancouver; two brothers, Frank Wardlow of Newport, R.I., and Dorse Wardlow, Doniphan, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wardlow was born April 13, 1882, in Gatewood, Mo.
Funeral service was Tuesday at Stoller Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lyndall Logee officiating. Music was by the Christian church quartet, Alfred Harris, Jimmie Harris, Bob Olds and Ward Haley.
Masonic committal at graveside was by Clarke Lodge 203, F. and A.M. Interment was in the Camas Cemetery.
