William Widenhoeft died at his home in Glenmore September 22, after an illness of over a year. He was born in 1861 and came to this country 51 years ago with his parents. He was 56 years, 9 months, and 29 days old at the time of his death. He married July 27, 1886, Elizabeth Griepentrog. They made their home in Glenmore till the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and six children, four sons and two daughters, namely Fred of Kaukauna, Edward serving in the Army, Matilda (Mrs. William Triechel of Morrison), Martha (Mrs. John Hansen of Glenmore), Arthur and Ervin at home. The funeral took place September 25, in the Morrison Lutheran Church, Rev. B. Gladasch conducting the services. Pallbearers were William Krueger, Christ Hansen, Herman Triechel, August Triechel, Jul Conrad, Fremand Lawrence. The flower girls were Misses Martha Gerke, Ethel Shaughnessy, Eva Halfrisch, Alma Schlittenheart. Relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. Matt Dietrich and son Arthur from Tony, Mrs. Emily Beatin from Manitowoc, Mrs. Gussie Meyer from Marshfield, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Wudenhaeft and son Oscar Ralph of Abrams, Mr. & Mrs. Louis Kemps, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Kemps from Green Bay, Mr. & Mrs. William Thiel, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Thiel, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Pantz of DePere, Mr. & Mrs. Peter Rouskum of Duck Creek, Mr. & Mrs. Benny Wudenheft of Peshtigo, Mr. & Mrs. Ernard Luepke of Suamico, Walter Wudenheft of Brookside, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gusman, Mr. & Mrs. Reihert Hoffman, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Wyland, Mr. & Mrs. William Gerke of Kaukauna, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Seiltz of Greenleaf, Mr. & Mrs. August Gripentrog, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Gripentrog of Morrison and Mr. & Mrs. William Enz of Glenmore.
