Eddie D. Amrine passed away at the age of 82 on March 23, 2011 in Norman, OK. He was born in Tryon, OK, September 29, 1928 to Jack and Mary (Hicks) Amrine. He had been in the roofing business and was a very hard worker. He loved to watch basketball, football and golf 24/7. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pauline; two sons: Larry Vassar and Gary Amrine, and daughter Karen Vassar. Survivors include: one son, Clarence Vassar and wife, Sandra of Oklahoma City; two daughters: Jan Talley and husband, David of Midwest City and Debbie Amrine of Midwest City; one brother, Jackie Amrine; one twin sister, Betty Westfall; one grandson, Justin Salazar and one granddaughter, Terra Argo; four great-grandchildren: Suzie, Moses, Briuana, and Natalie; and many other family members and friends that will miss him very much. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday March 25, 2011 at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
