MARRIED - 25 DEC 1892
Fannie Tyner Wallace died in childbirth of her son, Francis Wallace. She and Francis are in unmarked graves.
Francis was born at the home on Curl Creek. Aunt Laura Sears took the baby but he only lived one month and was buried beside his mother in the Keys Cemetery in Washington County. In the Miller Application W.B.Wallace stated that his wife Fannie Tyner died on 30 March 1897.
**Mrs. Frannie Wallace, wife of Brother W. B. Wallace and daughter of Brother Reuben Tyner and wife, was born Nov 26, 1869 and died March 31, 1897. Sister Wallace was converted in early life and became a member of the M. E. Church, South, in which she lived a consistent life until her death. Sister Wallace was the first member of her family to profess faith in Christ and had the privilege of being instrumental in the hands of the Lord in leading her father, mother, two sisters and a brother to Christ. Her father has since become an honored and useful local preacher in our church. Sister Wallace was a bright, happy, useful christian, carrying sunshine wherever she went. She was loved by all who knew her and her consistent christian character commanded the respect of all who came in contact with her. She was happily married to W. B. Wallace Dec. 25, 1892. Three chidren blessed their union. The death angel swept down and claimed her on the above date. He found her watching, waiting, ready and willing to answer his summons. She folded her arms quietly and peacefully went to sleep in Jesus and her spirit swept up thorugh the pearly gates into the New Jerusalem. A large concourse of friends followed her remains and on the first of April we laid her quietly to rest in the family cemetery to await the resurrection of the Just. God bless the sorrow-stricken father, mother and husband. May his tender care and divine sympathy be extended to the motherless children. N. E. BRAGGI P. C.
