Elmer T Edson was born Oct. 3, 1886 in Missouri and passed away at his home, Ames, Oklahoma, Oct. 7,1936 after an illness of only 2 weeks.
He was married Jan 11,1918 in Quannah, Texas to Alice Campbell. To this happy union were born three children, Calvin, Thelma and Melvin.
Mr. Edson with his family moved to Ames about six and one half years ago.
He was ill about two weeks but felt several days before his death that he could not live.
His mother died when he was about 7, his father about seven years ago. One brother Millard also preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, three children, Calvin, Thelma, and Melvin of the home; one sister, Mrs. May Richmond, Mildred Texas; three brothers, George of Farley New Mexico, Eugene of La Mass, New Mexico and Wilfred; his mother in law Mrs.Theresa Campbell, other relatives and a host of friends, who will miss this loving father and kind and sympathetic friend.
