Ms. Elva N. Sloan of Poteau, Oklahoma, died Thursday, August 28, 2008, in a Ft. Smith hospital, at the age of 91 years. She was a retired nurse.
Ms. Sloan was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three sisters: Betty Markobitz of Anaheim, California, Helen Lewis and Ellen Milam, both of Poteau, Oklahoma; two brothers: James Lewis, of Oklahoma, and George Lewis, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and two grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, August 31, 2008, at 2:30p.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma.
