Mrs. Sarah Ann Fontaine Redd, relict of Edmund Redd, and the oldest descendant of Patrick Henry, died here Tuesday, of infirmities incident to old age. She was 95 years old. When death came, she was at the home of her granddaughters, Mesdames W. A. Osborne and Robert Scales. The remains were taken to Reidsville, N.C., and interment was made in the Greenview Cemetery at that place today.
