James (Jake) Michael Jacobs of Del City, passed away Tues, May 16, 1995. He was born Nov 18, 1916, in Lacona, Iowa.
He served his country as a SGT, in the Army Air Corp in WWII. He retired from Continental Baking Co after 27 years.
Mary, his beloved wife of 52 years, and he moved to Dutches Creek Estate, where they enjoyed living at Lake Eufaula for 18 years. They returned to Del City in 1993.
His joy of life and great gift of humor will be treasured a lifetime by Mary Jacobs, his wife; Bill & Bob, his sons; Kathy & Dania, his daughters-in-law; his 6 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren; and his 3 sisters, Velda, Anna Mae, and Francis.
