Funeral service for Mrs. Lizzie Mae Cochran, 77, will be held at 2:30 pm. Wednesday here in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Naugher, pastor officiating assisted by Rev. Ed Foreman of Pryor. Mrs. Cochran died Monday morning, March 10, 1969, in the Wagoner Hospital.
Mrs. Cochran was born, January 6, 1892, in Fairland, Oklahoma. She and Mr. Cochran were married December 14, 1919, in Sayre, Oklahoma. They moved to Mayes County in 1916 and moved to Wagoner in 1938. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and The Good Neighbors Extension group.
Survivors include her husband George A. Cochran of the home; 5ive daughters, Mrs. Willie May Crow of Chouteau, Mrs. Rosa Louise Crow of Chouteau, Mrs. Nellie Kirby of Sand Springs, Mrs. Lilly Belle Shannon, Sweeney, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Geneva Franklin of Tahlequah; five sons, Paul of Locust Grove, George W., and Jack E. , both of Wagner, T/Sgt. David Henry, Sand Springs, and Sgt. Robert H., of Fort Hood, Texas; one brother; Calvin Wright, Pryor; 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Chouteau Cemetery.
