Originally buried in what came to be known as the Butler Cemetery. In the fall of 1904, the graves were moved to the Schenck Cemetery. The graves originally had home-made markers of native mountain stone. In 1911 descendants of Henry Pletcher raised money to place a joint monument on the graves of these earliest Pletcher burials: Henry, Samuel, Anna, Daniel and Jonathan Pletcher. These same graves were again moved in 1967 when the Shenck Cemetery was relocated during the construction of Sayers Dam.
