Mrs. Sunny Jo Jett November 03,2007

Mrs. Sunny Jo Jett, age 69, of Woolwine, passed away Saturday evening Novembe 3,2007 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Jett was born in Patrick County on May 21, 1938 to the late John C. and Mary Clark Hubbard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jett was predeceased by a sister; Nancy Hubbard Duncan. She had been an administrative assistant in the Human Resources Department of International Paper, and was a member of Woolwine United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Women's Club and was the foundling leader of the Teen Bible Class of the church. She served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corp Wave and had been a member of the Woolwine Ruritan Club.
Mrs. Jett is survived by her husband, James S. "Jim" Jett, a son and daughter-in-law; Jon G. and Betty Jett and a granddaughter, Brittany Jett, all of Woolwine and three brothers, George Hubbard of Ridgeway, Clark Hubbard of Preston, and Mike Hubbard of Del Rio, Texas.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 10,2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Woolwine United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com
