William was the brother of August W Hasz [1885-1964], Albert Hasz [1887-1955], Anna Hasz [1889-1948], Emma Hasz [1892-1980], and Edward Hasz [1898-1940].
He was the husband of Edna Viola Meyer [1901-1995] whom he married October 26th, 1926 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois.
William and Edna were the parents of William Junior Hasz [1927-1998] and Howard Lee Hasz [1929-]. According to SSDI, their son, William Junior Hasz was born October 27th 1927 and died November 1st, 1998 in Madison. He was in the U.S. Army and is buried as a Veteran in Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison, Wisconsin.
William worked in a restaurant as a cook. Earlier he worked on the August Heinz farm near Denzer, Wisconsin. He was known by his family as Willie. He moved to Madison in 1926 where he met his future wife Edna Meyer.
William built the house that was once located at 2874 Fish Hatchery Rd. William & Edna always had a large garden & they raised chickens, hogs and cows.
