Services for Jack Crowther, 40, and his son, Carl, 16, were at 2pm Monday in the First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Max Browning, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park conducted by Rix Funeral Directors.
The father and son were killed Friday in a van-train accident in Shallowater.
Crowther was a former resident of Slaton and was graduated from Plainview High School. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was employed at Reese AFB as a fire inspector. He had lived in Shallowater 14 years.
His son was a sophomore at Shallowater High School and a member of the Shallowater Future Farmers of America.
Survivors include the immediate family, Mrs. Retha Crowther and two children, Lynn and Debra, both of the home.
Carl's survivors are his grandparents, Dave Crowther of Plainview and Mrs. Willamae Thompson of Shallowater.
Crowther's survivors are his father Dave Crowther; two sisters, Mrs. Roland Ziegler of Plainview and Mrs. Carl Meriwether of Ruidoso, NM; and a brother, Neil of Alabama.
