Marie Snapp, 88 year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died August 30, 2006. Born September 27, 1917, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of John C. Ingle and Myrtle Hoyle Ingle. She moved to Siloam Springs in November of 1977 from Chandler, Oklahoma, where she had been involved in numerous charitable organizations. She was a volunteer at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital where she was a Pink Lady, and played bridge in several local bridge groups. She was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Troopers Association, the American Legion Auxiliary, and Patches. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church, Siloam Springs. She married Cecil L. Snapp in McAlester, Oklahoma, on February 3, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil; one son, John Michael Snapp; and one sister, Mary Agnes Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Sikes and husband Bob of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Amy Hall and husband Ron, and John Snapp and wife Amy, all of Poteau, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Grace Hall; Wyatt Snapp and Walker Snapp all of Poteau, Oklahoma; one brother, John H. Ingle and wife Grace Lynne of LaCrescenta, California; and one sister, Pansy E. Evans of Watts, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2006, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Dr. Randy Rowlen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
