Charles was united in marriage to Nellie Mae Thomas. She survives.
Survivors include six sons, Charles Swanson, Jr., Gene Swanson, Gordon (Alice)
Swanson, Marvin Swanson, George (Alma) Swanson, Melvin (Donna) Swanson; six
daughters, Lottie Roberts, Lila Barker, Helen (Nels) Nelson, Clara (John) Dietz,
Irene (Walter) Hitt, and Florence (Herbert) Schroeder; and grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 31, 1946 at Hogarty Presbyterian Church. The Rev.
Gee officiated. Interment was in Hogarty Riverview Cemetery, town of Harrison.
