Logan Gibbs was a private in the 10th Kentucky Calvary.He was captured in Morgan County,January 28,1864. He was 18 years old and was taken to the Louisville Military Prison on March 3rd. Described as 5ft.6in.,fair complexion,light hair and blue eyes, it was said " he was one of the prettiest little boys I'd ever seen". The Louisville prison was filled with disease and it was not long before Private Gibbs was infected. On March 10th, just seven days after his arrival, Gibbs was admitted to the Branch 4 Eruptive Military Hospital suffering from measles.AT 8:30 on March 22nd, after 12 days of agonizing pain, Logan died. He was buried in the prison section of Louisville's Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville,KY. without ceremony. Logan is the son of Ebenezer Gibbs and Sibby Little. Ebenezer Boone Gibbs b. 5/5/1816 d.7/7/1875 Sibby Little b.1822 d.1847 Married 8/30/1841 in Morgan Co. KY,
