Mr. John W. Tarlton of Goose Creek township died Friday in a Charlotte hospital where he had gone for treatment. Death resulted from Kidney colic. The deceased was 68 years old and is survived by his wife, four sons and six daughters. The sons are: Messrs. William L., H. P., W. D., and Baxter C. Tarlton, all of Goose Creek township. The daughters are: Mrs. T. J. Simpson of Charlotte, Mrs. H. W. Williams, Mrs. Luther Love, Mrs. J. M. Mullis, Mrs. Little and Mrs. G. M. Smith, Jr. Mr. Tarlton was faithful to his family and driends. Funeral services and interment took place at Antioch Sunday.
