Emma Nevada Potts was born October 7, 1885, at Raymondville, Texas County, Missouri, the daughter of Thomas Wesley Potts and Lola (Payne) Potts. She was married to James Robert Cannon who preceded her in death, January 8, 1933.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday for Mrs. Cannon, 84, Tulsa, here in the United Methodist Church.
Her survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Bill J. Reinhard, Mrs. Loney Shannon, Mrs. Vesta Parker, all of Tulsa; Mrs. Lula Ketcher, Wagoner; Mrs. Mary Mullen, Manteca, California; Mrs. Bobbie Yeckley, San Francisco, California; one son, Olney Cannon, Caldwell, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Ava Sanders, Tahlequah; Mrs. Nova Suggs, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 30 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel of Tulsa.
Mrs. Cannon was the 7 Great Granddaughter of Pilgrim John Howland that came to America on the Mayflower in 1620.
