Mrs. Mary L. Walker, 71 of Winnsboro died Friday afternoon at her residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro with the Revs. Jesse Boothe and J.A. Hawthorne officiating. Burial was in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was a native of Brookhaven, Miss., and had resided in Franklin Parish for the past 50 years and a member of the Wayside Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Otto Walker of Winnsboro; six sons; Jack Walker and Paul Walker, both of Winnsboro, Donald Walker of Shreveport, Mackey Ray Walker of Port Sulfur, Jesse G. Walker of Fayetteville, AR, and James R. Walker from La Mesa, CA; two daughters; Mrs. Gladys Wollerson of Winnsboro and Mrs. Willie Mae Draughn of Shreveport; four brothers; Henry Dunn of Miami, FL, Louis Dunn of Pineville, Sam Dunn and Tom Dunn, both of Winnsboro; two sisters; Mrs. Lizzie Wilson of Willits, CA and Mrs. Altie Calvet of Newellton; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were T.B. Wollerson, Alton Wollerson, Billy Ray Clark, Tommy Stokes, Steve Morris and Robert Draughn.
