Frederick Warren Hillard was the son of Catharine Logue (1837-1904) and Jonathan Boone Hillard (1831-1926).

He married Delphine Rebecca Seaton (1870-1940) on June 30, 1897 in Butler County, Pennsylvania. No issue.

Fred worked for a number of years as a rural mail carrier, during which time they lived in Emlenton, Pennsylvania. When they later lived in Verona, Fred worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.

After Delphine died, Fred's sister, Catharine Mary Hillard, lived with him for several years prior to her death. When Catharine died in 1950, Fred lived with Thomas R. and Annette Marie (Beatty) Corbett at their home in Verona, Pennsylvania.

His death certificate shows his date of birth as October 25, 1873. However his father's family bible shows him to have been born September 25, 1872 and the 1900 U.S. census also shows September 1872 as well.
