Rose Chaney died Dec. 30, 2005 at White Pine Care Center in Ely. She was born Nov. 4, 1915 in Page, N.D., to James and Ebba Holmquist Thompson.
Rose had been a resident of the Carson City and Dayton area for 31 years, coming from Truckee, Calif.
Rose was a homemaker who enjoyed her family.
Rose Ethel Chaney was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chaney; grandson Freaddy. A Chaney; great-grandson Colby L. Chaney; two brothers; and a sister.
Rose Ethel Chaney's survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Chester and Nancy of Prescott, Ariz., and Roy and Linda and Dennis and Suzette, all of Dayton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
