Mary's maiden name is unknown. Her first marriage was to a Mr. Prower and together they had a son, Solomon. She was widowed and in 1607 married Mayflower passenger Christopher Martin. They are only known to have had one son together, Nathaniel. Nathaniel seems to have died shortly before 1620, as the Martin's did not take him with them aboard the Mayflower. Shortly upon arrival to Plymouth harbor, Mary, her husband Christopher, and son Solomon, all died from sickness.
