Robert Carter was the apprentice or servant of Mayflower passenger William Mullins. He must have been under the age of twenty-one in 1620 as he did not sign the Mayflower Compact, although he seems to have been an older teen. Robert Carter seems to have been well liked by his master, for William Mullins requests in his February 1621 will that the elders of Plymouth Colony take special care of Robert. Robert died shortly thereafter.
