CORNING - William Coleman, 80, retired farmer who lived west of Corning, died at the Rosary hospital here at 1:15 a.m. today. His death followed a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Roland funeral home here at 2:30 p.m Wednesday, Rev. Lawrence Murphy of the Corning Federated church will officiate. Burial will be in the Brooks cemetery.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Lawrence and Mrs. Anita Flowers, both of Corning, and four grandchildren.
He was an Adams county farmer all his life and was the first farmer in this county to begin contour farming.
