She was born May 19, 1916 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Walter and Minnie Reeves Newbold.
She married Fred H Battcher on July 14,1945 and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Sharon F.) Maze of Springville, and Darlene Battcher of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence Newbold of Covington, KY. And George Newbold of McCoy, FL; three sisters, Mrs Ted (Bea) Mueller of Indianapolis, Mrs. Virgil (Nonie) Davids of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Viola Nolan of Bedford.
One daughter, Debra Kay Battcher and one brother, Darrell Jesse Newbold preceded her in death.
Mrs. Battcher was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Ferguson -Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Merla Craig officiating.
Burial will be in Cresthaven Cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
