(second wife Trimanda Morgan and he moved to Giles Co., TN/Athens, AL
area), 8 Children by 1st wife:

1) James Adam POPE, born 12 Oct. 1840, SC, married 15 Mar. 1862 Martha Ann
Jones in Pontotoc Co., MS.

2) Martha Ann POPE, born 4-24-1844, SC, married 9-25-1871 St. Clair
County, AL James W. Wilson, 3 children.

3) Andrew Marion POPE, born 8-20-1846, SC, died 9-5-1931, Lawrence County,
TN, married Melvina Fadilla Seale, born 8-14-1846, died 10-24-1930, 7
children.

4) Henry Rhodes POPE was born on 14 Feb 1849 in St. Clair County, AL. He
died on 4 Aug 1937 in St Clair County, Alabama. He was buried Pope's
Chapel Cemetery in St Clair County, Alabama, 3 children.

5) John Wesley Pope, born 8 Dec. 1851, married 18 Oct. 1871 Rachel Jane
Davis (1 child), married 2nd 16 Dec. 1877 Julia Edge (10 children).

6) William Noonan Pope, Sr., born 12 Mar. 1855, married 4 Jan. 1874 Amanda

3) W. Pope, died at age 6

4) Nancy Jane Pope married William Riley King, had 9 children.

5) John Pope married Georgia Haynes, had 7 children.

6) William Noonan "Bud" Pope, Jr. married Lucy D. Hightower, had 2
children, killed in WWI.

7) Mary L. Pope married John W. Carter
