5 Jul 2008: Anna L. Peffley, 83, ECC Retirement Village, Albright Campus, Myerstown formerly of Fredericksburg died Thursday July 3, 2008 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon on July 8, 1924 daughter of the late Allison and Anna Hartman Bender. She was a retired garment worker having last worked for the Everite Mills. Surviving are sons: James B. and wife Rosalia Peffley, Henderson CO; Donald E. and wife Nancy Peffley, Annville; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister Doris Boyer, Hershey; brothers Frank Kohr, MA; Thomas Kohr, Lebanon and their families. She was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Bennett, Emma Lafanear and brother Allison "Bud" Bender. Private family services will be held with interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
