ALBERT R. ALDRICH, 85, of 531 Victory Highway, a former construction worker at Lynburry Construction Co. in Shrewsburry, Mass., died yesterday at the Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Doris Rosalie (Dilloyen) Aldrich.
Born in North Smithfield, a son of the late Fred R. and Catherine (Finnegan) Aldrich, he lived in North Smithfield for many years.
Mr. Aldrich was a member of Elks Lodge 2359 in North Smithfield. He had been a bartender at the former Saratoga Club in North Smithfield.
He leaves a companion, Stella Richard of Mapleville; and a sister, Mary Patron of North Providence. He was the brother of the late Daniel, John and Phoebe Aldrich, Edith Sweeney, Loretta Rhodes and Charlotte Maude.
The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Aldrich Cemetery, North Smithfield.
