Teddie Locksley Hall was born September 19, 1896, near Veals Station, Texas and with his parents, Peter Eugene and Mary Anne McCanne Hall and four brothers, came to Oregon in March 1906, residing with the family in Portland and Eugene.
November 1916 he moved to Umatilla county and lived in this vicinity until November, 1922 when he left for Sierra Madre, Calif.
He was united in marriage to Marjorie Winslow, of Hermiston, at Sierra Madre, April 20, 1923
He was living near Pasadena when he met instant death by being thrown from a scaffold on which he was working to the pavement six stories below. The accident occurred on the 15th day of April. The remains were shipped to Hermiston and funeral services were held from the Methodist church last Sunday afternoon. The church was filled long before the hour of services, a good many who were unable to find seats standing up
At an early age he was affiliated with the Church of Christ and has been an active and zealous member of this denomination (church). He was laid to rest in the Hermiston cemetary by the side of his youngest brother Clyde.
Besides his widow, mother and father, foru brothers and one sister are left to mourn his loss.
