Funeral services for Robert Osborne Baker Jr., a retired electric engineer, 52, a native of Kansas and a resident of Gulf Shores, who died July 14, 1989, were held July 16, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Burial was in Wallace Cemetery in Gulf Shores with Rev. Dr. Stephen B. Woodward officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Linda Baker of Gulf Shores; one son, David Baker of Syracuse, N.Y.; one daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Jones of Cazenovia, N.Y.; mother, Gladys L. Baker of Foley; and one granddaughter. Pallbearers were Mel Roberts, Keith Griffith, Walter Perske, George Stephens, Ike Wibel and R.O. Koon. Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, was in charge of arrangements.
