Memorial services for Samantha Marie Chafey, 18, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Friday August 1, 2008 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Internment services will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Chafey died July 25, 2008, in Williamson County. She was born April 2, 1990, in Fort Hood, to Frederick Donald Chafey and Mary Lee (Wells) Chafey. She graduated from Killeen High School with the class of 2007. She was currently enlisted in the United States Army Reserve.
Chafey was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather.
She is survived by her parents, Fred and Mary Chafey of Killeen; a sister, Catherine Chafey of Killeen; paternal grandmother, Virginia Chafey of New Jersey; and her maternal grandparents, Fred P. Wells of Nicaragua and Vilma M. Wells of California.
