Nathan A. Adams Buried Monday
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 2, in Stuckey Baptist Church for Nathan A. Adams, 79, Route 1, Glenwood. The Rev. Jack Neill and the Rev. Joe Flowers officiated and burial was in the Nabb Cemetery in Montgomery County.
Pallbearers were Martin Wilcher, Jimmy Rabun, Jimmy Couey, Hyman Gowan and
Roy Scarborough. The honorary escort included Cleo Rabun, M.F. Whitehead, J.M. Wilcher, Mayo Anderson, H.D. Nelms, E.H. Hattaway, Charlie Anderson, and Hubert Joiner.
Surviving are five sons, Willie, A.L., Herman and Elton Adams, Glenwood, Luther Adams, Vidalia; two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Cooper, Moultrie; Mrs. Ruby Adams, Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Conaway, Savannah; Mrs. Annie O'Conner, Mt. Vernon.
Sammons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
