Edna M. Lockledge, of West Pittston, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter.
She was born April 19, 1908 in Old Forge, a daughter of the late William and Ellen Evans Curnow. She was a member of the Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church, West Pittston, a former member of the NEBO Congregational Church, Old Forge, and was baptized in The First Baptist Church, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; brother, William Curnow; sister, Lyda Memory
She is survived by son, Jack Lockledge, Nokomis, Fla.; daughter, Janice Lamoreaux and husband, Harry, West Pittston; grandchildren, William C. Lamoreaux, David E. Lockledge, Jeffrey C. Lockledge and Scott Lockledge; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren
Private viewing and funeral services will be held at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
