Bernita Genevive Freeman-Whipple-Stacy-Archer-Miller was born January 18, 1910 in Reno City, Canadian County, Oklahoma to the parents of John Clement and Drinda Quigle Freeman. Bernita was the sixth of eleven children born to this couple.
She was married and divorced x 2 to Ira Olen Whipple; October 8 1927 in El Reno, OK. Final divorce was June 24, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. To this union one son was born Ira L. Whipple, Jr.
Bernita married Charles Earle Stacy on June 26, 1941, in the Lutheran Church of Oklahoma City. Charles adopted Ira L. Jr. and his name was changed to Michael Leon Stacy.
They later divorced. She then married G. Wayne Archer on Sept. 23, 1950, Sebastian, Arkansas. In the city directory later, she was listed as a widow.
On March 30, 1952, she married Donald E. Miller, in Wichita, Kansas.

Funeral services will be Tuesday for Bernita Genevive Miller, 72, of Inola.
Mrs. Miller died Friday at her house.
Services will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rice-Winton Funeral Home.
She was born in El Reno to Mr. and Mrs. John Clement Freeman.
She was reared and educated there and married Donald E. Miller, March 30, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas.
They made their home in Oklahoma City until 1966, when they moved to Inola. Mrs. Miller was an artist, retired medical secretary, member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Philbrook Art Center in Tulsa.
Survivors include her husband of the home, son, Michael Leon Stacy of Advance, N.C. brothers, George Freeman of Wagoner and Aubrey Freeman of Tulsa, sister, Ruth O'Roland of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren.
