Mrs. Faye Jones, 85, Dies Here Today
Mrs. Melissa Ida Jones, 85, died at 3:20 today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Higgins, 1307 Bethel St. She had been ill two months.
Funeral services will be at 2pm tomorrow at Keightley Funeral Home. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Marvin B. Whitmer, of First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery, Trigg County.
Mrs. Jones was the widow of Fay Jones, who died in 1951. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late John Fry and Melissa Ann Stewart.
Surviving, besides the daughter, are a son, Terry Jones, Trigg County; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
