Virginia Dow Landreth Nelson, 77, died Saturday, July 15th, 2000, at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 17th, 2000, at the Mayodan United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime member. Burial will be in the Old Mayodan City Cemetery.
She was a native of Mayodan and retired from the Washington Mills Company/Tultex.
She was a homemaker. She had resided at Britthaven of Madison for the past two years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clinton "Drag" Nelson Jr. and daughter, Joretta Ann Nelson.
