Margaret Sarah (Skelton) Dickerson
Mrs. Margaret Sarah (Skelton) Dickerson, 91, widow of Edgar Brownell Dickerson, died Saturday evening, April 17, 1960, at a local nursing home, Cabool, Missouri, following a long illness.
She was born in LaSalle, Illinois, April 20, 1868, the daughter of Henry and Ruth (Foote) Skelton. On December 7, 1887, she was married in Ottawa, Illinois, to Edgar Brownell Dickerson, who died in April, 7, 1922 at Great Bend, Kansas.
Survivors include 11 children; Mahlon Dickerson, of Larned, Kansas, Lloyd Dickerson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Doris Feenstra of Fall City, Oregon, Frank Dickerson of Hagerman, Idaho, Mrs. Maria Johnson of Herington, Kansas, Mrs. Eloise Cummins, Visalia, California, Archie Dickerson, Fort Scott, Kansas, Ruth Schneider of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Iris Webster, Visalia, California, George Dickerson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bert Dickerson of Boise, Idaho; 35 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Edith Ferner of Los Angeles, California; three brothers, James Skelton, of Cabery, Illinois, Harry Skelton, California and William Skelton, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the Ferry Funeral Home and interment will be in the Nagle Cemetery, near Willow spring, Missouri.
