MRS. OSCAR A. ZEIGLER
Mrs. Elsie Cordella Zeigler, wife of Oscar A. Zeigler, High Street, New Oxford, died Sunday morning at 1:45 o'clock, at the age of 61 years.
She was a daughter of the late Ephraim and Alice Herman Cashman, and was born December 21, 1882.
Mrs. Zeigler was a member of the Pines Lutheran Church, near New Chester.
Surviving are her husband; five children, Mrs. Leo Culp, New Oxford R.D. 2; Mrs. Francis Stevens, Gettysburg; Glenn Zeigler, Irishtown, New Oxford R.D. 1; Mrs. Robert Eckenrode, Littlestown, and Quartermaster 2/c Marlin Zeigler, serving in the South Pacific; seven grandchildren, and two brothers, Harvey Cashman, New Oxford R.D. 2, and Earl Cashman, New Oxford R.D. 1.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon with services conducted at the home at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Elmer Drumm, pastor of the New Chester Lutheran charge, and the Rev. Kenneth D. James, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, near Littlestown, a former pastor of the New Chester charge, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Pines Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the home from Wednesday evening until the time of the funeral.
