Mike, age 56, passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was the son of Harold and Buelah (Woodard) Abildgaard. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a disabled veteran. He married Mary Campbell on June 24, 2000, in Hulbert, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, his children, Amber Comacho, Shiann Hallet, Summer Abildgaard, and Zachary Abildgaard, one grandchild, and his sisters, Judith Parnell and Janie Thompson. Funeral services were held at Potts Chapel Funeral Home Independence. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
