Glen Dale Gilmore, 85, died at Central Kansas Medical Center, St. Joseph Long Term Care at Larned, Kansas.
He was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Ford County, the son of Samuel and Clara Tullis Gilmore.
He married Nadine Deets Nov. 25, 1979, at Larned. She died March 29, 1985. He married Etta
Wilson Ward on April 4, 1986, at Larned.
A longtime resident of Larned, he was a farmer. Gilmore was a member of the Christian faith, and belonged to Fort Larned Lions Club and Welcome Inn Seniors, both of Larned, and Good Sams Camping Club.
Survivors included his wife of the home; three stepsons, Dwayne Ward of Boise, Idaho, Wesley Ward of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Don Deets of Hays; seven stepdaughters, Marietta Miller and Carol Cheetsos, both of Gothenburg, Neb., Donna Sever of Modesto, Calif., Mona Johnson of Wichita, Diana Echard of Oklahoma City, Okla., Janet Deets of Dodge City and Bonnie Bird of Garfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dee Gilmore; and three sisters, Verna Jones, Ruth Barnes and Lucy Gilmore.
