LEE, MRS. FLOYE BURNETT, age 80, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Alwyn Lee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. (Lena) Burnett of J.J. Burnett's Grocery; and her brother, J. T. Burnett. She was born and raised in Birmingham, AL, and graduated from Phillips High School. She worked in the family grocery store until it closed in 1975 then worked at West End Discount Drugs until she retired in 2000. Flo was a lifetime member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and was recently a member of the Lydia Sunday School class. She was a wonderful mother and faithful friend who will be greatly missed. .....
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ridout's Elmwood Chapel 251-7227 directing.
