CLEVELAND - John Autrey Ferrell, 79, retired police officer for the City of Anguilla, died Monday at Bolivar County Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Anguilla, where he was a member, with burial in Golden Link Cemetery. Mortimer Funeral Home in Belzoni has charge. He also was a member of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Association. Mr. Ferrell, the widower of Patrice E. Ferrell, leaves a daughter, Jerry Ferrell Fortenberry of Cleveland; two sons, Tommy Ferrell of Vicksburg and John Autrey Ferrell Jr. of Clarksdale; two sisters, Grace Ferrell Click and Hazel Ferrell Adams, both of Lexington; two brothers, Lorris Ferrell of Lexington and Cecil Ferrell of Belzoni, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
