SUDDEN DEATH
Mr. Peter Gittinger dropped dead the 3rd while engaged in work at his home. He was in his 65th year and had been a resident of this county for 31 years. He had spent five years of his early life in the regular army, two of which was in the Mexican War. He was esteemed and loved by all who knew him.
