Suzanne Basmajian Natowitz was born in Massena and was the daughter of John and Virginia Basmajian. She received her high school diploma from Massena High School and attended electrolysis school.
On November 1, 1951, she married Herman Natowitz in Massena. Mrs. Natowitz was a reporter for the Massena Observer newspaper and operated an electrolysis shop. She also assisted her husband in the operation of Herman's Men's Shop from 1962 until their retirement in 1976.
She was survived by her husband, a son, and two sisters.
