Margaret "Maggie" Ramsey was a daughter of David Ramsey and Christine Hudson Ramsey. She was married to William Henry Mitchem (son of Banks & Susannah Wise Mitchem). They were the parents of eight children: Ida b. 1873; died 1874; Eva Anna b. 11/12/1874, d. 4/1/1965 (never married); John Adam b. 11/27/1876 d. 3/15/1960 (m. 12/21/1899 Hattie Wallace; and m. 1/5/1911 Annie Eva Roberson 1881 - 1949); Lou Ada b. 8/7/1879 d. 11/12/1969 (never married); Effie Mitchem 1882 - 1891; William David Logan Mitchem b. 10/19/1884 d. 4/2/1960 m. #1 Lillie McKinney; m. #2 Emily Hayes and m#3 Annie Mae Callahan; Creed Albert Mitchem b. 10/28/1888 d. 6/10/1972 m. 2/18/1912 Ollie Willie Roberson (sister to John Adam's wife); and Walter C. Mitchem b. 5/3/1893 d. 4/6/1952 m. Reckard L. Roberson (sister to John Adam's wife and Creed Albert's wife).
