ESCONDIDO ~ Ethel (Haydon) Farrington, Snow, 88, of 9 Paramount St. died Sunday at Palomar Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1887, in Salt Lake City, Utah; (The sixth child of eight born to John and Elizabeth Brooks, Farrington). She had lived in Escondido for seven years and in California for 50 years. She was a member of Escondido's Third Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of its Relief Society.
(Ethel married George Carlyle (Lyle) Snow, 28 June 1911, Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed away August 6, 1951.)
Surviving are two daughters, Eva Royal of Valley Center and Lucile Carter of Montrose; three sons, George W. Snow of Bishop, Kenneth F. Snow of Palm Springs and Robert L. Snow of La Habra; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and one brother; (Frank D. Farrington, Salt Lake City.)
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Wesley Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale. The McLeod Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
